I am researching Hastings C1 TG557 circa 1953 when it was attached to 99 Squadron at RAF Lyneham ( although it was part of a pool of aircraft used by 53/99 and 511 ).
I believe at this point in time the Hastings still carried letter codes next to the roundals on the fuselage – can anyone confirm what letter codes TG557 carried or better still does anyone have a photo ?
