Did anyone on the forum, fly Provost T.1 in service?

Hi all,
I was visiting one of my best friends last night who is restoring Provost WV499 to flight status and he plans to restore WW453 to static live status. We both wondered how many people were around who actually flew in or serviced WV499 and WW453 when they were still in RAF service? A long time ago I know but you never know,someone out there might have a interesting story to tell, or a good photograph or two? It doesn’t have to be the two mentioned above as any old stories of the Provost T.1 would be interesting..

I think he would be quite chuffed to have someone who had flown WW453 or WV499 in service to come by and say hello 🙂
