Waddington Airshow Invite

Waddington Airshow Invite

Royal Air Force Waddington in Lincolnshire, the county that is considered by many to be the traditional heartland and spiritual home of the Royal Air Force, has been host since 1995 to the RAF’s largest air show. Waddington is holding this year’s International Airshow over the weekend of 3rd/4th Jul 2010,as always it is a charitable event and attracts thousands of people every year. We would like to invite pilots to participate in a US military static line up and join in with the weekend’s events.

Over the past couple of years we have assembled a large static display of aircraft in UK military colours which has proved very popular with both spectator and enthusiast alike. This year we would like to vary the theme and are looking for aircraft that are preserved in US military colours to form a centre piece to the static line up. If you own or have access to a suitable flying machine and would like to attend the weekend please make contact using the details below.

If you feel that you would like to take up the invitation please, in the first instance, make e-mail contact with Steve Taft (stephen.taft831@mod.uk) with your details. There will be a fuel/accommodation package available during the weekend for visiting pilots along with access to the Visiting Pilots enclosure.

I would love to see the Huey there. I have been in touch with the operator previously and unfortunately they do not have any availability? Thanks though, keep the suggestions coming.

Kind Regards
