No argument there, but it’s a bit like flying your Spitfire in England, damaging it, then packing it off to South Africa for repair…. if you can’t find a competent repairer in America then your not trying, and with the availability of old stock spares, manufacturers of new etc, it must be cheaper than shipping it all that way; still whatever floats your shipping container.
