I have been trying to find more info on the prop in order to try and either proove or disproove whether it is from B7389 or not.
I have found some numbers written in pencil on the rear of the clinometer etc.

The numbers on the clinometer appear to be- 6787 4254, what might these relate to ?.

There are some numbers on the brass cover “see image” though they might be a more recent addition by the look of them.

There is also the remains of a label inside the hub, unfortunately this is mostly un-readable due to being worn away, though my guess would be that it probably relates to the clock, rather than the hub.

I have also spoken to the previous owner, who says that the prop hub etc was given to him by an elderly widow and as far as is known, her late husband had no connections to either the RFC or RAF. So it looks as though I am no nearer to being able to confirm one way or the other, if it is from B7389.
