Bank holiday aircraft parts teaser

I have a few bits in my shed that I’m not sure of. On here as a teaser, and a way of getting the more knowledgable on here to show their skills;)

Hawker Hurricane.
Where and what could this be? I hold it, along with other parts, from this BOB crash. Never known exactly what it was though, can anyone help?

Thanks for the ID Tony,
Didnt really want to part with the items I have from this particular BOB crashsite. But rest assured that if I ever do, then you will benefit.

Thanks Pete !,
Left me wondering what the shell is from. I know what particular Heinkel bits the stub goes with now.
Just the hurricane item for someone to ID:)

Denis
the Hurricane item is the release catch from the flare chute door….if it needs a home, I could really do with it!!!!!
cheers and don’t eat too much choc lol!:)

Hi Denis

The bearing shell is not Merlin

The exhaust stub is Jumo, I think it is the type which fed a tubular manifold, in which case it should be He 111.

Pete
