Despite the cutting cold wind, there was a blue sky and the warm sun was out along with the HAC Spitfire and Hurricane. They were being used as a backdrop to a photo shoot for a car magazine. The Buchon, in its new colours, was also sunning itself in the ARCo compound but a Mk XVI Spitfire was conveniently parked in front of it so I’ll have to wait for a decent shot. The Blenheim has an engine mount fixed on it now, Sally B has all her engine cowlings on and the Catalina is sitting on its wheels, so the last two could be on test flights soon. By lunchtime it had clouded over and was trying to rain when I left

The Blenheim is really looking good.

It does, doesn’t it? However somehow I do miss that Mk4 nose; made it look more impressive.

Any news as to whether the Hurricane has been sold yet?

Lovely shots Brian. I was at DX on the 30th and got caught in a monsoon.

Great pics, as always. BM597 looks great from any angle, and the Hurricane looks fantastic, too.
