Best of luck with this. It is amazing how well preserved and comparatively undisturbed the place is.

Interesting project – it looks like the ‘left wing’ policies of Newcastle council let the bu7nker be preserved ‘as is’

Bunker 13

Hi Guys, John here from Bunker 13.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Lindys Lad you are right in saying that we are not the original team. The original team was led by Air Vice Marshall Sandy Hunter which was back in the 1990’s and development issues were a big thing then.
Today in 2010/2011, Bunker 13 is working with the residents surrounding the bunker, without them, things concerning the bunker and the landscape around it would be quite difficult but I am glad to say that the residents we are working with are good people and its nice working with them.

We have a few top historical establishments, volunteers and associates that are willing to re-equip the bunker as well as promised donations. If anyone knows of anything that will be well suited for display in the bunker, by all means contact us.
The plotting table that was taken out of the bunker has been located and has been promised to be returned once we take over and restore the bunker.

We have been going now for a little over two years and we are continuing to go from strength to strength, our following of supporting people and establishments is still growing which we do appreciate very much.

If anyone would like to ask us anything or have any comments please direct them to enquiries@bunker13.co.uk

Thankyou for your continued support

Oddly enough, I’ve spoken to them, and they seem to be very switched on. Good project, good guys. Incidently, as far as I am aware, this is not the original team – the first project hit development issues a couple of years ago. This team seem to have solved the issues.
