Hi Guys
I know not really a “historic” aircraft as such however does anybody out there have any old photos of Cambridge University Gliding club when it was based at Duxford? In particular any of their club Grob Astir CS77?

PM sent. May have found a bubble for you.

Ah yes – saw that on Segelflug! Canopy and frame is the biggy for me really – compared to the other repairs – those two items are most significant cost wise. Think I might be able to repair the frame at a push – but to find a bubble would save me an awful lot of time and hassle.
If you need a spare T21 fuselage – I can put my hands on one pretty easily…

The T21 still has the same amount of holes in it as last time you saw it 😉
We’re building a trailer first, then start the restoration. Stripping it (to allow it to dry out) has revealed some rodent damage adding to the storage woes and weather damage, but nothing too serious so far. Give it a couple of years and she’s up and flying again…
No luck with the canopy frame and/or canopy so far, maybe you could try at www.segelflug.de and see what turns up?

You did indeed? – what a coincidence! Its in the workshop now but still with the same number of holes in it as it had when you saw it! Any luck with a canopy frame or bubble in Holland? I’ve found some undercarriage doors for it…

I do recall being shown some photos of an Astir CS at Weston-on-the Green some months ago 😉
