I wonder if any experts out there can give me some info on these Stirling fittings and tell me if they were fitted to other aircraft.

Control unit Type 17. Used with IFF Mk.II (ARI 5000) & IFF Mk.IIE (ARI 5027).

The top control unit Type 17 is for the IFF system as used in fighters and also bombers I presume.

I have a Control unit plate we recovered from a Spitfire crash site some years ago.
Same design/type but it is :
Control unit Type 17
Ref No: 10LB/3B
Serial No : 11957
