Hi,
I received an email form a guy in the US who has come into
the possession of an original F2G Corsair flight manual and
was interested to know how much it was worth.
Not having a clue on such matters, I wrote this thread,
any flight manual experts out there with a general figure?
Looks to be in good condition all round.

Based upon its rarety and interest in the type, it’s probably worth north of US$350. If you were talking the E&M manual, it would be higher than $1000. I’ve never seen an original flight manual though.
Cheers,
Richard

Interesting item. Seems there are two markets for this material. Users/restorers who just want the info in whatever form is obtainable (CD or photocopy etc) and collectors who prize the original items.

Electronic copies go for $12,50 here: http://www.flight-manuals.com/f2gsuco.html
It seems to be an earlier version of the manual for a development aircraft and if it is an original in good nick… you could fetch anything from $100 to several times this value.
