Hi all,
Does anyone one here have a contact number for the persons responsible for taking the replica Spitfire around open days. Some people may remember this aircraft at the last Elvington Airshow…. I think she currently sits in a HAS site at RAF Leeming.

Hi Phil
Just dropped in after a long absence.I have left a full current update on the forum. The aircraft as has been said is sitting in HAS21 were is has been since 24th November 2009 supposedly up for sale !!!!.We all got the cold shoulder for no reason so we have given the RBL the royal salute and we now have our workshops building warbirds and Spitfires real and replicas and support worthwhile charities like Help for Heroes.

A bit slow, its been so cold this winter and cant do much in the freezing garage. I also have a problem with obtaining a Mk1 front screen. My original supplier GateguardsUK failed to deliver after many delays and I understand have recently ceased trading. However I have been offered some assistance in obtaining dimensions.
So it wont be at Eshott (or anywhere else) this year, Still need to work out how to transport it safely!

If you speak to Mike perhaps he could give us an update on the current position with regards to the RBL Spitfire. Its all gone a bit quiet since that last thread.
