Rocketeer’s gun button query brought no less than four Bristol yokes out of the woodwork. How about a chance to show off treasured items. I was lucky to be shown a rather splendid collection a fortnight ago and am hungry for more. Here’s my Blenheim yoke again to start things off…

Good idea, here’s some of ours. 🙂
Apologies Ian. Didn’t intend spoiling your thread so I’ve deleted the attachment.

The bases on both are hollow and have clear perspex holding the looms in, the one on the right only has a chopped loom but it is there and the one on the left has a complete loom with the terminals, I made the bases myself too from some spare lumps of mahogany.

John

Very nice chaps….here are a couple from my collection. The spit column is from K9844…..the only added parts are the tube and the bare spade grip (the gun button and lever are K9844)

Very nice John, and hardly common. My shelf is sadly lacking. A fine selection of switches and buttons to! Have you got the loom stashed away in the base? A very tidy solution.

Nice Blenheim yoke……..
Here are my only two, probably quite a common stick top with not very much historical significance but they take a certain pride of place in my collection of bits, the one on the right started me off with collecting aviation stuff and the one on the left was sold to me by Ian Black (the last Lightning pilot) and is totally complete with wiring loom and history.

Regards,
John.

No offence taken Air Ministry, just a long slow whistle. I fear there isn’t enough upload space to put them all here. Good job I bought your CD.

Impressive stuff Tony! Shackleton on the right? K9844 must have been quite a dig.
I’ve got a couple of grips with wires so might try the box route myself, John.
