Just came across this one. Anyone know why its so neglected? Seems a shame:o

Agreed it does seem like a waste of a C150. G-INFO gives the C of A expiry as 8/12/2004 but a subsequent C of A being processed at 10/11/2009. It could be that the owner had a temporary cashflow problem and is now rejuvenating it.

My bet is that this airframe is waiting for the engine to be repaired and cash flow is the hold up.Or the engine could be time expired and once again waiting for overhaul. It is very costly if you are a solo owner without a good income to support ownership and airframes sit waiting in many places until cash shows up. Shared ownership seems a better way to keep aircraft airworthy on a lower income.
If the engine is the problem then this 150 is worth scrap value only.

It was de-registered on 18/05/2010, reason given is ‘cancelled by the CAA’
