Can Anyone Help??

I am sure I read a topic on here about the colored lights fitted to Lancaster bombers. I tried a search but came up blank. I am tryiing to find out about the dark blue light fitted to the rear fusealge below the rear turret.

I don’t think it was unique to Canadian Lancs as I have a picture of a British Lanc rear turret and you can make out both type of lamps fitted

Peter, I know that US bombers such as the B17 & B24 had blue formation lights- its possible it was for the same use- Was this somthing unique to Canadian built Lancs or a postwar mod perhaps?
