Possible Whitley Item To Identify

Thorpe Thewles history group have found a suspected crash site, the identity hasnt been worked out yet but local witness state it was a Whitley Bomber that crashed between Sept & Nov 1941.

can anyone identify this part?

pity its not evidence of a definite whitley.

at least its from an aircraft, will need to have another look for proof.

oxygen c0ck tap….sits on either the top of a oxy bottle or on a oxy supply c0ck…..fitted to many types

You can say it’s an RAF aircraft though, which narrows it down a bit.
