Forum members I am looking for a store in the UK thats sells a dvd copy of ” Last of The Dam Busters “. Amazon.co.uk says it not longer carriers the title .. does anyone here have a suggeston as to where I might find a copy of this documentary ? Thanks for any help here . a kind request from the colonies !

Well I need another plan of attack !
Well a bit of a setback here…. on the play.com website they dont ship dvd to of all place the colonies ……………… so hopefully one can perhaps suggest another Uk dvd chain that might sell this title… I search as well .. thanks……… which brings up on of my favorite lines from my favorite movie of all time ” ” 12 O’Clock High ” on the futility of my search !

Thanks so much for taking the time to offer me this information..this was just what I was looking for. I saw the clips on Youtube and would love to add this to my dvd dambuster collection …… in some small way I feel each time we read and discuss this topic of 617’s dangerous mission ..its a tribute to these young men who risked all on this mission. Like the story of The Great Escape … The story of The Dam Busters tells the story of brave men who risked all in their personal & collective war against the evil dreams of Aldolf Hilter and his band of thugs ! BlueNoser352 offers a note of thanks here for the information ! I note the dvd documentary on The Great Escape – The Reckoning is released on the 27th of this month. Looking forward to see it ……….. !

Amazon UK have this DVD ‘release date December 2009’ so my guess is that release may have been delayed a little ( not unusual in these difficult times ).
I’m sure that if you’re patient it will appear on the market soon – I wouldn’t mind a copy myself so will also be looking out for it…..
