Hi all,
I have been searching for two years to find relatives of the above airman.
I have tried all the local newspapers – radio etc and have come up empty handed. There was initially a report of a surviving sister, though she failed to make contact with either the newspaper or myself.
I have a lot of letters and a few photos of him that I bought as a job lot a few years ago without realising how personal they were. I really wanted to return them to the family, however that now looks unlikely.
They make interesting reading starting with his time at AdamtonHouse in Scotland and then his posting and embarkationto North Africa. Unfortunately, he was killed whilst in North Africa.
Would anyone be interested in seeing some of the items here?
