Another 'what is it?'

Can anyone identify these parts? They were included in a pallet load of AGS, are made of turned steel and will screw together.

The part with the larger hole has part number 81050 129 stamped on it, as well as ‘R6790’. The other part has 81050 127 Iss B H5759 JZ3 stamped on it.

And yes, before you tell me, the straight thing is a steel ruler.

Looking at the part number 81050-129, this is very much Vickers style… ie the first three digits refer to the aircraft type / Mk, the second two the section of the airframe ie… (***37 engine mounting). The last three the idividual part number.

Thus 810 Viscount (800 series), 50 main landing gear…part number -129.

Any Viscount experts out there?

That seems logical. Throttle control or toe brake linkage possibly?

Perhaps they fit in a bush through a bulkhead, former or plate to transmit some small movement and being able to be unscrewed allows their fitting or removal.

make a small rod perhaps??

Not sure about the implications of being screwed together, but if its for Marine use maybe the strength requirements arent as important.

That was my first thought but I didn’t want to appear stupid. Though why they would be able to screw together is beyond me.

Look like small Rod ends. A bearing goes in the hole.

These are probably for Rolls Royce Marine parts (looking at the set-up of the part number – some of the parts begin 81050) no idea what they are used on.
