This looks very interesting, would love to get my hands on some of this stuff. Apologies if it has been covered in another thread but I didn’t see it.
Cheers Paul

Normal?
Maybe he means £’s ?
I find it much easier the normal way, with £’s. My experience has been that the abnormal way is a real problem. Nobody ever has the right change for dustbin lids or hubcaps these days.

That’s a bit ambiguous…what do you regard as ‘normal’ ?

Depends on the dealer I suppose Simon, some charge normal some don’t

Buried parts
If you look at the attached photo,in the background amongst the trees is an air raid shelter. There were also a lot of small mounds which may or may not contain parts.Waiting for someone with a metal detector to investigate!! I cannot as I am overseas!Site is the North western end of Oakington. There was also a fire dump at the west end of the runway (now dug up and gone!Worked as a civvie at Brooklands site Little Staughton(near St Neots)and all the duff stuff was thrown behind the hangar there and there was quite a mound of parts there, worth a look if you can get to it!

Hi Matt, what are the prices they may go for, have you a pricey list?
I would imagine pricing would be in the region of what Lanc FN turret parts would be…..;)
We go back to dig out more next weekend, it will be the ‘Outcasts’ Xmas party digfest, still a few tickets left….
pm sent Bird Dog old chap!
