One of the Spitfires had the code “PJ” which is No 130 Squadron.

C*ck! My mother’s PC won’t let me view it, for some reason! 🙁

Great to view and thank goodness the significance of this film was recognized.
It makes one wonder what else is hidden away in attics waiting to be discovered, and sadly what may have already been chucked away. In black and white it would have been impressive, colour some how makes it seem more recent.

Re. what else could be hidden away out there – I was thinking exactly the same!

My Aunt who lived in Redruth, Cornwall during the war can clearly remember Spitfires from RAF Perranporth patrolling the skies overhead.
