Passenger-carrying Wildcat….

A few years back, I remember an article relating the story of a Grumman Wildcat modified to carry passengers in the fuselage just aft of the cockpit.

Is this aircraft still kicking about?

The article was a modern one, with full-colour images of the plane’s interior (three seats – two facing rearwards, one facing forwards), possibly in either Flypast or Aeroplane?

I’ve no idea why this came into my head! 😮
