This is a picture of my step-father’s taken at Farnborough. It is not a great shot but I was wondering if anyone might know the significance of the date.
There is writing on the back which I cannot make out properly but the date is
26th May 1953 and a statement that I can read which says ‘Lost height at 24,000ft’. The number ‘08202’ is by the date if that has any significance.
