As to G-ALFW/F-OAIS and G-ALFB/F-OAJZ, these are recorded as ‘reformé’ on the DGAC website. I understand that this is not necessarily a definitive indication of their fate but the attribution which was applied, when the French civil registers underwent a major ‘clean up’ in 1971, in the event that there was no response to communications sent to an aircraft’s last registered owner at his/her/their/its last recorded address. I believe that I’m correct in saying that aircraft so attributed have, in fact, turned up subsequent to this. But such are the exception rather than the rule. So don’t hold your breath, Sabrejet!
