Scarcely Believable Survival Accounts

Ever come across an amazing tale?

A HE177 Grief was fatally attacked by a night fighter Mosquito over England. The aircraft broke up and the complete tail section flew like a glider to the ground. The tail gunner inside survived the ‘landing’, was hospitalized and made a POW.
