Vought OS2U Kingfisher

Just to change things up, I thought it might be interesting to start a thread on Vought’s well-known and underappreciated floatplane, the Kingfisher.

Anyone have any interesting stories or photos of the Kingfisher to share? I realize it’s not a glamour plane like a Spitfire, P-51, or B-17, but it was certainly an important part of both the American and British war effort.

Also, if anyone has any good book recommendations on the subject, I’d love to hear about it.
