Can anyone from down under – or elsewhere, come to that – shed light on the post 1948 career of the Beardmore Wee Bee VH-URJ (ex G-EBJJ), which was exported to Australia in 1933 and reportedly was still flying there in 1948. It seems that in 1948 the trail goes cold.There is no reference to it being airworthy after this date (indeed some sources suggest that it ceased to fly long before this) but, equally, there is no mention of it crashing, being scrapped or otherwise ceasing to be – or, at least, none that I have traced. Does anyone know more?
