These two stainless firewalls are waiting to be cleaned and straightened – but I am not sure what they are from.
Both had castings attached that had remains of wood on the wing/fuselage side.
The only marking so far is the elegant stamped 252086 BR786 and BW inspectors stamp – shown below.
They are ca. 1.2 m dia and 60 cm high.
I assume a radial engine and a wooden wing aircraft which sounds like a pre war combination.. I assume that they are a matched pair from either wing – or the top and bottom of the same firewall – but could be VERY wrong – again…
No hints on any of the Manufacturers stamp listings.
Any suggestions?
