Have been long fascinated by this Australian designed and built fighter prototype, had it been developed further and entered service it could quite legitimately have laid claim to being one of the longest raged, highest performing piston engined fighters of all time, indeed it outperformed most jet engined fighters of the day.
Sadly the one and only prototype was scrapped after years of reliable flight testing in 1950, its Griffon engine being returned to RR, a great loss to the aviation history of this country.
what id like to find out is if the design drawings still exist for the Kangaroo, with the intention of building a static replica.
