Lelystad-based Yak-3U suffers considerable damage in landing mishap in Germany

http://www.flugzeugforum.de/forum/showthread.php?t=55953 . Dutch-owned Yak-3U RA-3482K was involved in a landing mishap during the Dorsten Flugtage in Germany last Saturday the 12th of September, sustaining damage to the undercarriage, left wing and propeller.

Thankfully no personal injuries, but it will be some time before this Lelystad-based Yak-3U replica will grace the skies again… 🙁
