Well I’m amazed it hasn’t got posted anywhere so far but BBMF Spitfire IIa P7350 re-flew today from Duxford in the hands of OC BBMF Sqn Ldr Al Pinner, following a long and comprehensive overhaul at the Aircraft Restoration Company. It performed a couple of test flights and after some further adjustments is due to return to RAF Coningsby later this week. Congratulations to all the engineers and support staff involved in this challenging overhaul. Modellers and Corgi be warned there are a lot of stencils to re-produce if you’re brave enough…:D The colour scheme doesn’t look bad either, even the brown looks brown on this one. 😉
