Ramat David Dakota- any ideas please?

I realise it’s a long shot but does anyone have an identity (or other photo sightings) of the Dakota with its ‘Goofy’ nose art below? The picture was taken at Ramat David, Palestine on a RAF Parachute Dispatchers’ course in August 1943. It features Sgt Philip Dawkins (Back row 6th from left) who went on to fly with 148 (SD) Squadron. Frustratingly the Dakota is the only aircraft he doesn’t record the serial of in his log book!
