Fairoaks Airshow – late 70's???

Around 1978/9 (using the car I was driving at the time as a guide) I went to an airshow at Fairoaks. Was this an annual event for a few years as I can only find reference to 1981 but that seems too late (moved on to an Opel Ascona SR by then….:)).
Reason for the question is I’m trying to identify the Dragon Rapide that was offering trips during the day – it was my first ever flight.
I’d also be interested if anyone has a list of aircraft that displayed – I can’t remember any details at all except I always recall it being a cracking day out.
