Would anyone know whether there is any way of learning the weather conditions at a given place on a particular day in 1918?
I’m interested in weather conditions around the St. Ives (Cambs.) area for the early evening of March 23rd 1918. The Royal Flying Corps airfield at Wyton was just six or so miles away. Does anyone know whether the weather conditions were recorded in the ORB or War Diary for the airfield?
Are there any internet resources which may have recorded trends in the weather at that time?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
