Vulcan in the Sky

Just had the privilege of watching for five minutes or so what I presume must be XH558 do a couple of left circuits over the villages of Cosby and Littlethorpe in Leicestershire.

I’ve not seen one in flight since 1975 when one gave my primary school a “display” as one of the teacher’s husbands was part of the flight crew on one.

Being new to the historic aviation scene I found watching it just now to be pretty awe inspiring.

Didn’t have a camera so no pics I’m afraid.

I did have my scanner with me (listening to the sport/football) but couldn’t pick up on any traffic – what sort of frequency would they be using?
