I was watching/listening to the Human League video, Mirror Man and saw with astonishment a clip showing what looked like one of the Blue Bird speed boats going nose in and being destroyed.
It has to be said I was staggered that such footage was part of an ’80s pop video. It also got me wondering which boat it was that crashed. It was not Donald Campbell’s fated loop, but the opposite happened with the nose of the craft pitching into the water.
