Out side the VAC’s museum there was a very unusual aircraft. This F-5 was modified by Grumman for NASA for research into delaying the formation of shockwaves around a supersonic aircraft.

There was a few other aircraft outside awaiting restoration.

The provider was being restored as a memorial to Air America.
The restoration shed was very crowded with an Avenger being restored to fly and the VAC’s C-47 being repaired after a landing accident a few years ago. In fact it had just had its first flight and was back in the shed having an oil cooler changed. Due to the crowded nature of the shed and the poor lighting I did not get any pictures in there.
