Well thought’s of a great day, but all-in-all a great disappointment, four Spits parked on the flightline, the recently arrived Mk.1 sat sitting in a hangar, flying started around 13:45 til around 14:30 and then !!!!!!!!!!! nothing, packed up & went down pub.
So much could have been done, but i suppose you’re going to say there’s a recession on and why should owners display their wares, etc,etc.
Perhaps i should have gone the day before for the ‘Pup & Bulldog’ day, it certainly looked a lot more interesting with a fair few examples in attendence, still you live & learn
