Interior B17 section was ex Israeli,later scrapped at Croydon.

Not seen it for years either, but doesn’t it feature a very young Michael Crawford (with an American accent) as the ball-turret gunner?

I’ve a vague recollection that the belly-landing sequence was borrowed from an earlier film, but the low pass was filmed on location at Bovingdon for The War Lover.
