Hello all,
Victor XL231 “Lusty Lindy” will be undertaking a series of runs on the 2nd of August (this sunday) at Elvington airfield near York. Viewing will be available from the museum as part of its “thunder day” event.
Unfortunatly due to other activites on the airfield on the same day only 1 mile of the 2 mile runway will be available so no chute this time, but should be worth a look nonetheless.
The runs are at 1330 and 1500 local.
See you there
Ollie

Hmm, you just know that the punters will be seriously disappointed if it doesn’t achieve an altitude of at least fifty feet! :p
