Hi All,
Tried a few web searchs but coming up with little.
Anyone know what a/c were built by Boeing at Vancouver, Canada.
It apears maybe catalina/canso, but anyone know what a/c types, serials would be great as well.
Also any info on when the factory closed.
or a link to the info ?

This (attached) would be one of those Boeing-built Sharks (un-attributed original 5×7 print from my collection)
There’s also a great photo of the one and only Boeing Totem on page 194 of the soon to be released (on press next week) Larry Milberry project “Aviation in Canada – The Formative Years” (volume 2 in a series) – CANAV Books. How do I know the Totem is where it is? Easy – I’m the guy the put it there during design/production of said book.

There are also five pages in the Putnam Book on Boeing.
This gives the US Navy, New Zealand, RAF & Australian Serials for the PBY’s

B: The Boeing Airplane Co., Seattle, Washington (1923-1962)
B: Boeing Aircraft of Canada, Ltd., Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (1941-1945)

Boeing Aircraft of Canada Ltd built the following Catalinas and Cansos:
55 Canso As serials 9751 to 9805
75 PB2B-1s serials JX270 to JX344 to RAF as Catalina IVBs
125 PB2B-1s serials BuAer7292 to 73116 which went to RAF and RNZAF
40 PB2B-1s serials BuAer44188 to 44227 most of which went to the RAF, RNZAF and RAAF
67 PB2B-2s serials BuAer44228 to 44294 which many went to the RAF and RAAF
Total Catalina production = 362
Boeing also built the following at Sea Island, Vancouver:
4 Boeing C-204 flying boats
5 Boeing 40H-4 mailpane
1 Boeing Totem flying boat
17 Blackburn Shark
Avro Anson components
de Havilland Mosquito tailpanes
Boing B-29 bomb bay sections
Noorduyn Norseman wing spars
