I had a small hand in the building of that car:)
IIRC its a Packard Merlin 266
its mounted in reverse to the normal mounting in an a/c, it drives a two speed Lenco gearbox through a reduction/reversing gearset.

Built by Rod Hatfield who owns a Hot Rod shop down at Castlemaine in Victoria Australia many a year ago.Exported to the states IIRC.
