Crash Part ID

Hi All

Can anybody shed some light on this item, I found it whilst trying to locate a Warwick site, it is marked with the following, CE1 29836, a number 6 and another marking within a circle that i cant quite make out.

Is it aircraft related?, it appears to be a small control lever?

Thanks 🙂

Hi Me-109

For de Havilland aircraft CE in the part number indicates that this part would be from the engine controls.

CE1 = Control Engines.

Is this any help to you?

Interesting, the owner of the land in question has told me about 3 aircraft that possibly crashed on his land, maybe one was of de Havilland origin!

This is of great help to me dcollins and thanks for shedding some light on this find, have you seen anything like this before?
