Yep, that’s the inside of the footstep (half way up the fuz from the stirrup)…I shall photo mine (which is not fitted yet) when I get home from work….if I ever get home from work!!

I’ve seen similar textured sheet on Wellington rudder pedals for grip. Maybe the same on the Hurri?
