John Black Morrison, 104 Squadron, DFM

I’ve recently acquired the Escaping Society envelope below. I believe the addressee was 1006445 Sgt John Black Morrison, 104 Squadron, DFM in the London Gazette 22/1/43.
Can anyone shed any more light on this individual?
