I thought about that Kev, but from whom, you? But the damage has already been done, anything on Youtube is picked up by the media these days, no doubt that they have their feelers everywhere, including here. I shall sleep uncomfortably tonight in the knowledge that I will have caused tomorrows headline in The Sun.

Anyone seen the video of the VC10 pair jolly on Youtube, filmed on saturday, it’s easy to find. A family day out from Brize during Family Day, two VC10’s out to Cornwall and back loaded up with the families of the RAF personell.
Me, I think it’s a great video and considering the hardships that the families of the RAF in the various war zones have to put up with, it’s a fantastic and deserved treat for them. Trouble is, I’m waiting for the media circus to jump on it and start whingeing, they inevitably will, sad isn’t it. These aren’t members of the Royal Family using military equipment to visit girlfriends at the Tax payers expence, they are ordinary RAF family folk enjoying a deserved day out, they get my full support.

A tristar had an undercarriage problem and blocked the runway at Brize. hence her diverting to Lynham.

The Vulcan was flying around Lyneham yesterday around 18.30, then wheels down and landed.
