Good evening all,
I note that there have been two other threads about this aircraft, but I think my information request is better as a new thread rather than a ‘bolt-on’
I recently found these images of paintings of the two produced aircraft:
N249: http://www.livinggloucester.co.uk/search/collection/results/?id=LG00131c.jpg
http://www.coopersmodels.com/i/Wiener%20Modelbau/tn_Gloster_VI.jpg
N250: http://www.livinggloucester.co.uk/search/collection/results/?id=LG00371c.jpg
http://www.coopersmodels.com/i/Wiener%20Modelbau/tn_Gloster_VI_Commonwealth_Blue.jpg
I believe these are fairly accurate, from the articles that I have read. As these aircraft in my opinion have such amazing and iconic paint schemes (as well as beauty), I was wondering if anyone out there is aware of any other colour paintings/3D images/digital art of these aircraft that have been produced over the years?
thanks
Mekon

Mekon,
I should also point out that the colours for these aircraft are sort of half way between the two images you posted. From 1929 descriptions:
N249 – ‘Old Gold’ fuselage, wings and tailplane. Basically brass coloured to match the wing and fuselage radiators. Unpainted anodised durallumin floats, often described as white.
N250 – Blue fuselage and tailplane, presumably the fuselage radiator was also painted blue. Old Gold wings and unpainted floats as per N249.
I haven’t seen any photographic evidence for roundals under the wings.
Cheers
Ralph
