I really should spend less time on ebay. It’s the kind of thing you feel bad someone threw out, made with care. First, is it part of a TR9 radio tuner and second does anyone know what the RAF where doing at Ber el Abd in 1941? Googling only brings up casualties from the first war. Thanks, Ian.

Can’t quite make out the title, but she’s wearing a rather lovely gingham dress. Thanks for the confirmation Elliott, couldn’t find a clear enough photo.

Hi Ian
Yes, it’s the scale from a TR9 controller. A lovely find!

……….. from the sixties (could be talking ‘tosh’ here)……
Told you:rolleyes:
Can you make out what book she is reading? It all blurs out when I enlarge it.

I did take the photo out, looking for a name but unfortunately nothing. The photo is contemporary, quite a good one as it is colour tinted. She must be in her eighties now. The fitter (?) spent some time on it as the perspex cover has been slightly domed. Presumably there were a lot of these going as scrap when the push button selectors came in. I wonder who she is?

That’s nice.
Do you own it?
I’m guessing the original photo faded out as that looks like an Kodak instamatic 33 picture from the sixties (could be talking ‘tosh’ here)
Any chance of carefully opening it to see if there is another picture underneath?
