I’m looking for any information on the recce variants of the Sukhoi SU 17/22. Please can anyone direct me to any resources where I can access this type of information ie books, web sites.
It is important for me to be able to research the recce variants at some reasonable depth…ie recce suites carried by the variants; development of pods/suites, role, and mission with different airforces.
Can anyone recommend Yefim Gordons Aerofax book on this aircraft with reference to the above criteria?

Definately recommend the Aerofax book, 175 pages with loads of photos and colour artwork. However I can not offer an opion on the text because I have never got around to reading it, but it is great for model making reference. Also I believe Midland Counties have them in their discount section so worth taking a look. I also have the Squadron Signal book ‘Sukhoi Figters in Action’ which is a soft back with 50 pages, obviously contains much less detail but might be worth a look if you can find a copy.
