Auster Club

The Auster Club has decided to create a new section for young members, aged 18-25, to help further interest in Auster aircraft and aviation as a whole. If you’re interested in historic and/or light aviation, this could be a great chance for you get involved with the operation and flying of these great aircraft. Benefits of the young members section of the International Auster Club include;

Reduced membership fees

Flights in Auster aircraft (although we can’t guarantee it will happen, it is highly likely you will, especially if we are able to pair you up with an owner/operator of an Auster aircraft local to you)

Learning new skills – to get members involved that may not own an Auster but could be interested in owning one in the future, as well as hoping to get you airborne in one we will also, if you’d like to, teach you other skills such as care and maintenance of Austers, as well as getting you involved in the many Auster fly-ins held all over the country, such as marshalling, greeting the pilots and passenger(s) of Austers as they land or other ways in which you would like to get involved.

Quaterly magazine with lots of interesting articles and photographs of Austers, both their current activities and articles about the history of Auster aircraft in war and peace.

A large sales section with well designed merchandise, from shirts to caps and mugs to stickers
